Fred Rogers was not only the star of his own kid-friendly TV show (which was called Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood); he was also a song-writer, a puppeteer, and an ordained Presbyterian minister. But more importantly, he was kind to kids of all ages.
Mr. Rogers said, “There are three ways to ultimate success. The first way is to be kind. The second way is to be kind. The third way is to be kind.”
So, if you want to be a real success in the game of life, be kind. When you treat other people like you want to be treated, you’ll always be a winner. Just like Mr. Rogers.
Kindness Starts with You
Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.
Never lose a chance of saying a kind word.
William Makepeace Thackeray
Each day offers many opportunities to do some little kindness for another and to be caring and considerate, understanding and supportive.
John M. Templeton
The happiest people are those who do the most for others.
Booker T. Washington
Always be a little kinder than necessary.
Kindness is the universal language that all people understand.
No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.
Do to others what you want them to do to you.
Matthew 7:12 NCV
