President Abraham Lincoln led his nation through the dark and difficult years of the Civil War. Lincoln’s time in office was incredibly stressful, and he struggled at times to maintain a positive attitude. But he never gave up.
President Lincoln understood that he needed to stay positive, and his advice to others was the same advice he gave to himself. He said, “Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any one thing.”
So the next time you’re in a tough spot, don’t give up and don’t give in. Instead, stay positive and keep working. With a positive attitude, better days are right around the corner.
